My 2020 Project Pan Intro

Hi there!

Since I'm trying to get 100 items out of my makeup collection in 2020, it seemed logical to me to continue my project panning adventures. I've been enjoying doing a project pan this last couple of years, and I knew I wanted to continue it this year with a few changes.

I wanted to make it a little easier on myself this year and not have too many items in each category. One of my issues last year was having too many items that did similar things, and I would like to avoid that this year. The project pan I'm doing this year is essentially the Team Project Pan that Kat and Hailey from Beauty News started last year and is also doing this year! I have made a few changes to what mine looks like, in that I've split some categories further, separating lip products by colour, separating my primers by function, etc. I've also not added any skincare, body care, haircare or perfumes, since I want to focus my time on panning makeup. I am adding in some nail polishes in hope that I will use them more, and maybe declutter the shades I don't like.

My Goals:

My makeup collection is too big for me to finish everything before it all goes bad, and I want to spend most my time panning items I like. Most of the items that I'm not finishing completely are those items that I like but don't love, and that I don't mind using and panning for a little bit. But I don't want to spend all my time panning items I don't love, because it means items I do love will go bad before I can get to them.

If I at any point fall out of love with an item, or it's no longer fun to use I will declutter it, because as I said, I don't want to hate pan.
